It started at the kitchen table. My daughter and I were sitting there one afternoon and I just started drawing our dogs — no plan, no big idea, just paint and paper and the pups we love.
That was six years ago. I put it away more times than I can count, and every time, I found myself pulling it back out. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I knew there was something real there, something worth doing right — I just had to find a way to get it onto something. Anything.
That something turned into Coco-Chew: hand-painted, one brushstroke at a time, right here in New Orleans. Every design starts as an original painting — no clip art, no AI, just real paint and a real brush — inspired by the food, flair, and spirit of Louisiana. Coco (a bull terrier with big personality), Chewey (our West Highland Terrier), and Lenny (our resident lizard) are the real dogs — and lizard — behind it all.
Six years of putting it down and picking it back up led here. Thanks for being part of it.
